Blackout Blinds

Blackout and dim-out blinds are one of the most popular requests at Amersham Blinds. We can supply a variety of styles including blackout roman blinds, roller blinds, Duette and dim-out pleated blinds.

Frequently used in children bedrooms, blackout blinds are also the perfect solution for cinema rooms and commercial environments where projectors are being used.

Our blackout roller blinds, Duette blinds and dim-out pleated blinds are available in an array of fabrics, and with regards to roman blinds, you can choose any fabric from our showroom, then a blackout lining or bonded blackout lining is inserted in the centre of each blind, creating the desired blackout effect.  

As with any blackout blind, the blind itself is blackout, but you will always find a small amount of light escapes down the sides, unless you opt for perfect fit blinds which are framed by a metal frame. Another way to create a true blackout effect in a room, is to add blackout lined curtains and a pelmet, which of course we can help you with too.
