The Interior Design Process
How we work
If you have decided that our Interior Design service is for you then please see below as to how our design process works.
Let’s Meet
We start with an initial meeting at your home. This allows us to discuss with you in detail the requirements of your project, the overall style that you are aspiring to and also your budget and timescale.
After this meeting we will provide a written proposal agreeing the works that you have asked us to undertake; at this stage we will require a commitment fee. This amount will be discussed with you in the initial meeting and will be dependant upon the work required.

Getting Creative
A follow up appointment will be made to meet up in our showroom at Chesham Vale, Buckinghamshire.
This meeting is all about ideas. We will present a selection of draft layouts, concept images and potential fabrics and samples to gauge your reaction and make sure we are on the same wavelength.
After this appointment we will have enough input to start creating your schemes. We will put together draft concept boards and then arrange a second meeting to present the designs and give an indication of costings.
Once approved, we will then move on to completing detailed design boards with exact costings. A final meeting will be arranged at our showroom in Chesham Vale to complete this presentation and sign off the project.

Management
Amersham Designs will now take complete control of your project and will undertake all ordering of goods, organising tradesmen and will create a programme for your schedule of works. We will ensure that we are available to be on site as and when required so that the project runs as smoothly as possible. This will also include our team attending site to manage deliveries and includes the aftercare of quality management and possible post delivery issues.

The Exciting Bit
Once everything is in situ, our team will attend site to add those finishing touches and pull the scheme together. We will unpack, position and dress all furniture, soft furnishings and free standing pieces. It is at this stage we find that it is best to bring in a selection of accessories to finish dressing each room.
