Called in at the very early stages of this project, Amersham Designs were asked to be involved with the creation and installation of all soft furnishings throughout the property.

The owners of this house had very strong views of the required finished look that they wanted to achieve and really had done their homework. Meticulous about the design and insistent on recreating all of the original features, they even included an amazing hand carved staircase and balustrade complete with miniature gargoyles!

With regards to the soft furnishings, the brief was simple and understated, but of course to be beautifully hand made. Curtains adorned the windows using fabrics from great English classics, such as Sanderson and Zoffany, all of which were in keeping with the original Arts and Crafts ethos.
