The Japanese word kasuri describes an ikat weave where the warp is printed to give the distinctive blurred edges that are visible on the spots in the design. It's a smart small scale motif, the perfect companion to the lead designs of the collection and very effective as a standalone fabric in any room.
Inspired by the records of female Victorian travellers, who criss-crossed the world in a corset. They recorded their adventures through paintings and drawings incorporating the colours and textures of plants, patterns, and vistas from destinations including Siam, Ceylon and Java. Voyager is a decorative collection featuring embroidered and jacquard fabrics for full room decorating.
